Absences & absent work
It is essential that students make all effort to be in class for the entire day. I know that sometimes absences are unavoidable. In the case that your student is absent, is essential that they make up work that missed as soon as possible.
What to do when your student is absent:
- Notify the office of reason for absence
- Remind your student to check for absent work when they return
- Make sure your student turns in absent work to the proper location
**Students have the same number of days they were absent to complete all missing assignments and receive full credit. Unfortunately, some activities and assignments are unable to be made up, and an alternate assignment will be given.
- Absent Work: Same number of days absent= number of days to make up ALL work with 100% credit; however, if it is past the absence grace period then the late work policy will be in place.
Grading Policy & Late Work
Students will be graded in all subjects to the following scale:
A = 100-90%
F= Below 60%
